A 26,000-square-foot health and beauty spa offers 26 treatment rooms including a couples' suite with jetted tub and candles, a spa boutique, relaxation lounges, and women's and men's wet rooms with saunas, steam rooms, and four-person spa tubs and plunge pools adjacent to gas fireplaces and bordered by cushioned chairs/footstools. In an ambience inspired by the area's Native American history, the spa offers treatments employing herbs, fruits, and flowers.
Seasonal body scrubs include grapefruit seed/sassafras root in summer and primrose/eucalyptus in winter. Body wraps include Creek Indian herbs and Oconee mud; massage options include herb-and flower-friction and warm-stone. Hydrotherapy choices include milk baths and Vichy showers. Facials, nail care, and hair care are also available, and the spa offers teen facials, and facials and massage for children.
Within the spa, an expansive, carpeted, mirrored-wall fitness center contains cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, and an exercise studio with a polished wood floor and spinners. Spinning, aerobics, yoga, and Pilates classes are available weekly.
Supervised activities for children ages 5-12 are offered Mondays through Saturdays, with half- and full-day sessions available and "night-out" sessions available on Fridays and Saturdays through the RITZ KIDS program at The Lodge.

Driving directions from Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport: Exit the airport by following Camp Creek Parkway to I-85 North. Proceed north on I-85 toward Atlanta. Take I-20 East and proceed toward Augusta. Take Exit 130/Hwy-44 /Greensboro. At end of the exit ramp, turn right on Hwy 44 heading south. Proceed to the traffic light and turn left onto Linger Longer Road. Proceed one mile, and then turn left at Lake Oconee Trail. Proceed two miles to lodge entrance.

Getting around: For a surcharge, the lodge arranges shuttle transportation to any attraction or outdoor activity. Rental bicycles are available.
