Driving directions from Savannah International Airport: Exit the airport by following the signs for
I-95 South. Proceed south on I-95 for five miles. Take Exit 99/I-16 East. Proceed east on I-16. Take Exit 167B/Montgomery St. At the end of the exit ramp, proceed straight onto Montgomery St. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Bay St. The Hyatt is three blocks on left.
Getting there: Taxis from the airport to the Hyatt Regency Savannah cost $16-$25. Car rentals are available online.
Getting around: The historic district is laid out in a series of squares that are easy to navigate by pedestrians. Complimentary water taxis at the Riverfront take hotel guests to Hutchinson Island (room key required). The CAT provides public transportation throughout the city for less than $2, and taxis are available. Metered parking is available but may be difficult to find. For travel outside historic Savannah, a car is recommended.
